Emma Hawke hides some secrets about her first husband, who was murdered in an alley. To date, the responsible killer has not been found. She in now married to Tom, and becomes surprised to news that they had an earlier connection to when she was still married to her first husband.

The police has re-opened the murder investigation of Derrick, the first husband, after getting a tip. Do you wonder what the new information is? Somehow, the police are seriously looking into Emma, and anyone she is associated with to see their alibis, relationships, or motives.

Meanwhile, someone is leaving warning messages to Emma. People are acting in a very suspicious way, and as more information becomes available, it is difficult to determine who is telling the truth. I would highly recommend this tense, suspenseful, and bewildering mystery to other readers
