OMG! David Bell, Author of “Try Not to Breathe, has written a riveting, suspenseful, and chilling thriller! I was so taken with this novel I finished it in one sitting. I have read all of David Bell’s novels, and this was an exceptional read. The genres for this novel are Suspense, Thriller, Mystery, Psychological Thriller, and Fiction. There are horrifying secrets, danger, kidnapping, mystery, and murder, and I promise you an unbelievable conclusion!

This is an extremely well-thought-out and well-written novel. I love how David Bell keeps you in suspense and guessing. The author vividly describes his dramatic and dysfunctional characters as complex, complicated, and flawed. One of the protagonists in the story, Avery Rogers, an ex-cop, is asked by her father, a retired Police Officer, to find her missing sister. Avery is traumatized by an incident on the job when she was a police officer.

Anna Rogers isn’t sure of her goals in college and is ambivalent about her family dynamics. Anna wants to protest Police Brutality and is going to meet a friend. Anna feels that someone is stalking her. Little does she realize of the danger she is in. Someone wants Anna Rogers for unknown reasons. Anna is forced to run.

It seems that horrifying family secrets may be surfacing! I highly recommend this intense and edgy thriller!! David Bell, you have a winner again!
