Dr. Will Franklin was an academic in the biotech industry but now holds a leadership position. His wife is a great support for him. When the President of the company, Chet, Will’s mentor and boss, calls him to a private meeting, Will is surprised and hurt. Chet was scheduled to retire but now lets Will know that he is disappointed with Will’s fling and that the company could be in serious trouble from leaks. Chet fires Will.
Chet suffers a stroke, and Will is safe for now but must unravel and provide damage control. Will realizes that he will have to face the music if his wife finds out. Will had no idea what Chet was referring to within the company. Will finds himself in the position of helping Chet’s family during this crisis and saving his reputation and the company. I highly recommend this intense and suspenseful novel.
