Leslie Hachtel, the Author of “Come Back to Me,” has written a creative story of traveling through time. The Genres for this story are Time Travel, Science Fiction, Magical Realism, and Fiction. The timeline for this story starts in the present and goes back into history. The author vividly describes her dramatic and colorful characters. Skye Blaine is browsing through antiques and finds a worn picture that stops her heart. This is centuries old, and the man in the picture seems to be her soulmate. She buys the portrait and researches the time period and clothing.

Skye believes in dreams, magic, and love and is determined to find a way to be with this man. Skye is not aware of the consequences, betrayals, danger, and plots of murder. The author takes us on a journey to find true love. I would recommend this intriguing and magical novel.
