P.A. DePaul, the author of “Shadow of Doubt” has written a powerful, gripping, dynamic and captivating novel. The Genres for this book are Suspense, Romance, Military Fiction,Contemporary Fiction, and Adventure. This book is one powerhouse of action and adventure, with twists and turns, betrayals, and danger at every corner. This is a well written novel that vividly describes the activity and dramatic characters. The author describes her characters as complex, complicated, flawed, courageous, adventurous, and combative. Some of the characters are manipulative, dangerous, cunning and resourceful. There are ex-military operatives and special operatives. Six years ago, Captain Jeremy Malone rescued Michelle Alger from a kidnapping by a Colombian Drug cartel. Now Michelle is in Witness protection, and becomes a suspect after going out one night with the senator’s son who is killed.
Jeremy and Michelle have amazing chemistry, but he has to determine what happened. He also has to protect Michelle from different enemies. My heart was racing as I was reading this book. It was hard for me to put it down. I highly recommend this action packed novel.
