Wow! ”Her Father’s Daughter” by T.M. Dunn is an intense and chilling read. The genres for this novel are Suspense, Psychological Thriller, Mystery, Romance, and Fiction. The author weaves a web of deception, secrets, and betrayals and combines genres to take the reader on one thrilling ride. In this well-written story, the author vividly describes the scenery, the dramatic characters, and the action.

I am confident that Linda Donovan, 25 years old, was shocked at the disclosure of her family tree. Linda works for her father, Anthony, in an Exterminating Business. Linda is quite organized and tries to get her father to maintain the expensive buildings they work for. Anthony is grieving the anniversary of his wife’s (and Linda’s mother’s ) death years ago. Linda checks out the exclusive building when they get a call about roaches. When she enters an older woman’s apartment, she discovers that the woman is dead, and a rat is feasting on the woman. There is a question of foul play, and Anthony is nowhere in sight.

Linda discovers five notebooks that are written like diaries in her father’s handwriting. Each one seems like an act in a play. The more that Linda reads, the more frightened she gets. As she reads about her father’s relationship with her mother years ago, it is difficult for her to realize what has happened.

I highly recommend this chilling thriller to other readers. This is a book that I couldn’t put down, and was up most of the night.
