D.K. Silver the Author of “Forcing Shoots” has written the continuation of ‘the Weight of Flowers” This is the second book in the series, and I do think you should read the first book for better understanding. It was amazing to see the life changes of some of the major characters and to meet some new ones. The Genres for this novel are Literary Saga, Psychological Literary Fiction, and 20th century Historical Fiction. The story takes place in the 1920s.
The author describes her dramatic characters as complex, complicated, and flawed. The authors shows the impulsiveness, lust, sexual experimentation, and differing lifestyles. There are betrayals, secrets, and danger. Some of the characters have their own agendas.
Carrington seems to have moved in a different direction, and Jamison “Crystal” is recuperating and is very aware of Jon Roe, who does have secrets. There will be two more books in this series, and I am very curious to see what happens to the characters.
