Leslie Hatchel, the Author of “Follow Me” has written a captivating and alluring novel. The Genres for this novel are Historical Romance, Time Travel, Time Travel Romance, and Para Normal with a feel of Magical Essence. The author vividly describes the scenery and the dramatic and vivid characters. One of the female protagonists in the story, Harper decides to follow her best friend back through time to the 1500’s in Scotland. Using a cloak that her friend Skye had purchased on Ebay, (that mentioned magical powers,) Harper finds herself time-traveling back to the 1500’s where her friend Skye is now married to the man that Skye had seen and fallen in love in modern time.
Harper soon realizes that her adventures are about to begin. Life in the 1500’s is quite different from our modern life. There are dangers for that time period. As Harper learns to navigate this new time-line, she makes friends and enemies. Harper has to make a life changing decision, whether to stay in the past or travel back to the future. I highly recommend this magical novel.
