In this well written novel, the author visually describes the strength, perseverance, and courage of her colorful and dramatic characters. I love that Sara Ackerman has also included dogs with personalities .The Genres for this novel are contemporary, adventure, fiction, sports, and romance.

Dane Parsons is a big wave rider, loves the ocean, the challenges and the danger. He is loyal to a group of friends with the same mindset. When Dane meets Iwa, sparks fly. There are twists and turns, suspense, danger, and fighting for survival. I appreciate that the author discusses how the eco-systems need to be protected, the importance of family, friends, love and hope. I highly recommend this memorable novel.
