These three women start as strangers with their own complex and complicated stories surrounding an artistic scarf created by one of the characters, who uses her imagination, color and threads to symbolize freedom, romance and liberty. This is such a memorable and thought-provoking story of sisterhood, hope, courage, war, sacrifice, survival, love and hope. I highly recommend this impressive read.
