The themes surrounding the trial are racial discrimination, drug use, class differences, sexism, greed and political views. The two opposing attorneys, once worked with each other. The jury members are dysfunctional, and don’t agree on anything. Secrets and lies are discovered, and last minute witnesses are shocking. I promise you won’t get over the shocking ending, which is quite thought-provoking. I recommend that you read this books.
