There is something to be said about memories of early friendships ,lifetime friendships, and the journey home. The author captures the essence of the sand, sea, beach town vibes, and forever friends.
The three female protagonists, Ellenor, Emma, and Esme (the three E’s) have all grown up together on the shores of Cape Cod, and revisit the memorable adventures that tied them together. Now, the friends are thirty years old, each dealing with their own conflicts, problems, relations, dreams and aspirations. They meet at the Cape to deal with problems with family, friends, and love once lost. Each have their personal secrets. Can their special friendships deal with the test of time? I highly recommend this thought-provoking novel.
