Leslie Hachtel, the Author of “Finding Me” has written a captivating and alluring novel. This is the sequel to “Follow Me”, but can be read as a stand alone. The Genres for this book are Time Travel, Time Travel Romance, with Suspense. The author vividly describes the scenery, change of timelines, and colorful and dramatic characters. There is a magical cloak that characters in the first book had purchased from Ebay that allowed time travel to the past, and back. Neasa MacKenzie has used the cloak from the past to go to the future to track Davina the villain from the first story, who has also traveled to the future. Davina was supposedly hit by a car in the future, but is recovering in the hospital.
Although Neasa was prepared by the friends she met about how the future is, she is fascinated by the television, and the bathroom. There is some humor to the adjustments in vocabulary and modern conveniences that Neasa has to get used to. Neasa is attracted to a man in this timeline, and also faces danger. Neasa is hoping to somehow get Davina back to the past. Will Neasa go back to her timeline or stay in this timeline? I highly recommend this entertaining and suspenseful novel.
