In this well written novel, Mia Sheridan vividly describes the scenery, the plot, the narrative, and the dark and dramatic characters. There are twists and turns, surprises, edgy suspense, betrayals, danger, murders and startling suspects. The Female Protagonist of the story,Cami Cortland survives a tragic home invasion where her mother and sister are both killed. Years later Cami answers the phone, and a disguised robotic voice asks her if she would like a “DO-OVER”? Included are photos of a young boy that is imprisoned that looks familiar. She is warned not to contact the police. The only person, who can help her is also from the past and was involved in this situation. She requests help from Rex Lowe, now a computer expert that has military training.
