Jill Shalvis, Author of “Hot Winter Nights” has written an engaging, entertaining, witty, romantic  and captivating novel. The Genres for this novel are Fiction, Women’s Fiction, Mystery and Romance. Jill Shalvis describes her colorful characters as quirky, complex, and complicated.

Have you ever heard of a “Naughty or Bad Santa?” It seems that several senior citizen “elves” are waiting at Hunt Investigations for Molly Malone, office manager to help make Christmas right. This is not a case that Hunt Investigation usually deals with, and if the bosses, or Molly’s brother who works there has anything to say about it, this is not a case for them. Usually Molly is there, and the elves are waiting. Where is Molly?

It seems that one of the employees, Lucas Knight, recovering from a gunshot wound and on strong pain medication, had just a little “drink” the night before and finds himself  out cold in bed. When he wakes up, he realizes that he has the company of an attractive brunette all wrapped in his blankets. Would you like to take a guess who that guest might be?  Just keep in mind that Molly’s brother works at the agency, and is very protective of his sister.

It does seem that these “elves” are convinced that there is a scam going on at the “Christmas Village”, and the workers and “elves” that work there are being underpaid. There seems to be a BINGO game that is making lots of money. When Hunt Investigations is aware that Molly might choose to get involved, they ask Lucas to watch out or babysit her. Little does anyone realize what is really going on, or the possible danger.

I would recommend this romantic and easy read to those readers who enjoy a Romantic and enjoyable story.
