Lindas Book Obsession Reviews “A Season for Hope: A Christmas Novella” by Tammy L. Grace
ABOUT “A Season For Hope” by Tammy L. Grace
A SEASON FOR HOPE is based on an encounter I had last holiday season. A woman with her children found themselves stranded with a broken down car in my hometown. It was towed to my husband’s auto repair shop and she didn’t have enough money to fix it. She ended up staying in my hometown for several months while she saved up money for repairs. Meeting her sparked the idea for this story and like I usually do, I imagined her story and wrote A SEASON FOR HOPE.

LINDAS BOOK OBSESSION REVIEWS : “A SEASON FOR HOPE’ A CHRISTMAS NOVELLA’ BY TAMMY L. GRACE
Tammy L. Grace, Author of “A Season For Hope: A Christmas Novella” has written an emotional, delightful, cheerful, and feel good novella depicting the Holiday season. The Genres for this Novella are Fiction, Women’s Fiction and Romance. The author describes her cast of characters as secretive, kind, good neighbors, helpful family members that are relatable and likable to the readers.
Hope and her young son Jake stay in a guest house in a small mountain town in Silver Falls, when their car breaks down. Hope helps the owner with cleaning and preparing food in exchange for free room and board. To fix the car will be expensive, and she is aware she will have to find other ways to make money. The owner and her adult sons love dogs, and they fit in quite nicely. Of course, being an animal lover I love reading about dogs.
I appreciate the way the authors describes the cheery festivities, and decorations that are in the town from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Hope has major secrets and has to protect herself and her son. She would love if she could resolve her problems and stay forever. Is it possible to have hope?
This is a heartwarming story and has a happily ever after ending, that shows how kindness, thoughtfulness and helpfulness from other makes a huge difference.
I would recommend this light, easy to read enjoyable novella for those readers who enjoy a feel good story.
