Dr. Harry Previn is known as the Plastic Surgeon that keeps the famous Hollywood set beautiful.  Harry doubts himself and worries about his reputation after the mother of a famous actor dies after he does her plastic surgery. Harry is called in secretly to operate on a famous young singer, Fay Wright, after a terrible and traumatic incident. If Harry can’t “fix” what is broken, it looks like Fay and other people will suffer damage to their careers.

This looks like only the beginning of Harry’s ordeal. It seems that the young singer is being held captive, and everything is not so black and white anymore.  This is Hollywood, where only the rich and beautiful do well. How much danger is Harry in?

I appreciate that the author discusses the question of what beauty is, and what is important in life. I would highly recommend this thrilling and thought-provoking story.
