Devney Perry, author of “Stone Princess” has written an emotionally charged, suspenseful, and romantic book. The timeline for this story is set in the present and goes to the past when it pertains to the characters or events. The author describes her dramatic characters as complex and complicated. There are secrets, and betrayals.
Presley Marks is ready for her wedding, and her fiance doesn’t show up. Presley continues to work at the Clifton Forge Garage, which proves to be a wonderful hideout to nurse her wounds. That is until there is news that a movie is going to be made about the notoriety of her friends’ family tragedies.
Presley is also not prepared for the charming lead actor, who visits the garage. Nor is she aware that her ex-fiance and his gang can bring trouble to their door.
I would highly recommend this suspenseful romantic novel for readers who enjoy this genre.
