WOW! Hank Phillipi Ryan, author of “The First to Lie” has written an intense, captivating, edgy, suspenseful, and intriguing novel. The genres for this novel are suspense, psychological thriller, mystery, and fiction. The timeline for this story is set in the present and goes to the past when it pertains to the events or characters. The author describes her dramatic and colorful cast of characters as complex and complicated. There are lies, betrayals, revenge, secrets, and danger.

I love the way that Hank Phillippi Ryan writes and tells a vivid story that is unpredictable and describes the characters, events, and the plot is such an amazing way. I would highly recommend this novel.

What if you could choose a different name and be a different person to achieve goals that are important to you? What if several characters do this at the same time, not realizing they may be working towards the same goal?

I dare you to read this novel, and guess what is really going on. I read this in one sitting, and I kept trying to put the pieces of this puzzle together. Kudos to Hank Phillippi Ryan for an amazing novel and challenge.
