Bette Lee Crosby the author of “Wishing for Wonderful” is an amazing storyteller, and she always vividly describes and writes about her characters and events in her novels. I highly recommend “Wishing for Wonderful” as a heart-warming, witty, fun-loving and thought-provoking book. The genres for this wonderful book are fiction, fantasy, romance, and there is a magical essence that is in this book, especially for the holiday season, but can be read in any season, The author describes her colorful and dramatic characters as complex and complicated and flawed. One of her characters is quirky and lovable. Did I mention there was also a dog??

I love that Bette uses “Cupid”, a quirky and lovable character, who answers to the man upstairs, as the narrator. This is a book of love for the young and older people. I did enjoy the amusing and delightful story. This is an easy to read, uplifting and memorable story that is so enjoyable. Happy Reading!
