I love the way that Alison Ragsdale vividly describes the landscape and the emotional feelings of the characters. The author is a master at writing stories that tug at one’s heartstrings, and stays with one to reflect on. The genres for this novel are Fiction, Domestic Fiction, and Family Fiction. The author describes her characters as complex and complicated. The characters are also flawed and dysfunctional.
