Olivia Cruz is ready to discuss her traumatic kidnapping on the 3 year anniversary on a Podcast, with Zoe March. Zoe March seems to have a handle on discussing controversial crimes with people on her Podcast. The day of the Podcast, Zoe March doesn’t make an appearance. Olivia Cruz has a feeling of apprehension and dread for her friend Zoe. Oliva and Zoe’s assistant contact the police, and Zoe’s husband to see where she could of gone. There is no sign of Zoe.
Olivia and her niece , Nicki start investigating Zoe’s life. It appears that Zoe has many secrets. Olivia also has the backup of her boyfriend, who specializes in certain disappearance cases. After threats and attacks, it seems that there are a number of characters, who can be suspect. Olivia checks Zoe’s case files, and notices some frightening things.
I was interested in all the ways that the author has written that the characters can be kidnapped, threatened, harmed, or murdered. That was an eye opener for me. I read this book in one seating, and wanted more. There are clues, and former crimes that play into this. This is a powerful and intense thriller, that I highly recommend to others.
