What is your motivation or inspiration for writing “Dreaming in Chocolate? I knew I wanted to tell a mother/daughter story and that it would have a magical component. But the story really didn’t come together until I started writing Ella, my protagonist’s eight-year-old daughter. She was just so fun and alive in my head, thanks
