  1. I consider myself a Jack London buff but I was unaware of this book by Rebecca or that the Londons knew Houdini. Given London’s interest in metaphysics in the years close to his death (The Star Rover, On the Makaloa Mat), knowing that he knew and perhaps spent time with Houdini is not a surprise. Wow.
