Linda’s Book Obsession Reviews “Never Turn Back” by Christopher Swann, Crooked Lane, October 2020 for Suzy Approved Book Tours

Christopher Swann the author of “Never Turn Back” has written a powerful, captivating, intense and intriguing suspenseful novel. The genres for this novel are Mystery and Suspense, Thriller, and Fiction. The timelines for the story are set in the past and present. The author visually describes the characters and the events in the past. This is a riveting and page-turning novel! The author describes his dramatic cast of characters as complex, complicated, and dysfunctional. This is a story about family, friends, betrayal, revenge, redemption, love and hope.

Ethan Faulkner is now an English teacher and lives in a small cottage, never forgetting his traumatic childhood. Ethan also has been a protector for his troubled sister Susannah, when she is around. I love that Ethan loves his pet dog.

Ethan meets Marisa at a conference and they have a one night stand. Coincidentally, Marisa applies for a position in Ethan’s school and soon is working with him. Marisa is obsessed with Ethan’s life and seems to have too much information of his past. When Ethan tries to break of the relationship, Marisa is threatening and very angry.

This novel is filled with adventure, ups and downs, twists and turns and unpredictable events. There are threats, danger and murders. I would highly recommend this chilling thriller for readers who enjoy loads of action.
