OMG! WOW! Jaime Lynn Hendricks, the author of “Finding Tessa” has written a suspenseful, chilling thriller, that is compelling, captivating and enthralling. The genres for this novel are psychological thriller, suspense, mystery and fiction. The timeline is set in the author’s present and goes to the back when it pertains to the characters or events. The author describes her dramatic characters as complex, and complicated. There are some characters that are sociopaths, psychopaths, evil, betrayers, threatening and dangerous.This novel reminds me of “Gone Girl”.
The protagonist of the story, Tessa seems to have disappeared, and the author sets the scene to indicate that her husband Jace Montgomery is the lead suspect. There is blood and glass at the scene, and there soon are added pieces of evidence that appear. Where is Tessa? Did Tessa set Jace Montgomery up to fall for her disappearance, or murder? Who exactly is Jace Montgomery?
I love the way the author vividly describes the characters, the scenes, and the plot. She has me sitting on edge, digesting and finding clues and motivations. It is not until I realize that the author seems to have been setting the stage for something else. I didn’t want to put this book down. I highly recommend this amazing and unpredictable novel for other readers. You will be very surprised!
