Lindas Book Obsession Reviews “Fire and Water” by Caroline C. Barney, 2021 On Tour with Suzy Approved Book Tours
Caroline C. Barney has written a third novel in “The Trebor Tales”, which can be read alone. This is a wonderful, symbolic “tale” for all ages, that shows when there is unity, and we take a stand, we can overtake many obstacles. This is also a novel that shows how both nature and nurture influence behavior. I can relate this to our environment today, where we should be working on a solution to provide a better world for tomorrow’s future.
This is a fictional story, that focuses on the “good and evil” in people and the environment. The author shows us that the “The Trebors who lived together in a magical and special tree, have split up, and there is danger everywhere. The sea has become restless, and a source of danger, and the mountain seems to house some kind of evil. If the Trebor tribe unites in time, can they provide a solution?”
I would recommend this intriguing story for children and adults to read and discuss. I appreciate the many symbolic references that Caroline C. Barney has provided.
