MY SISTER HILARY LEVACK’S UNVEILING

Sunday, September 20, 2026

My Sister, Hilary Passed Away at the end of October from ALS. Today is her Unveiling. It has been a difficult year. Left with Memories and a Broken Heart

My Poem Dedicated to Hilary by Linda Levack Zagon

Dedicated in Love to My Sister Hilary

I can’t believe that we are at Hilary’s unveiling today.

It’s been such a difficult year without my sister, Hilary, I miss her so, and pray

I wish that I could turn back the hands of time

And everything would be just fine

When Lewis (my husband) passed away, Hilary would call me everyday

She would take me to doctors for procedures, surgeries and a consult.

Hilary was like a nurse, and make sure that I had everything I would need to get the best result.

Hilary was special, thoughtful, loving, helpful kind and the best sister that God could ever send.

She was my best friend through thick and thin, forever through the end.

There are times that I reach for the phone to call Hilary for advice and talk

Often, I feel like I am seeing a ghost of my sister when someone with her hairstyle will walk

I miss the laughter, joking, chatter and tears

I miss the political issues we were upset about and our fears

I miss the radio shows and podcasts with health information, BOOKS, that we would share

I miss the advice on the newest fashion and makeup, and if we would use it or dare.

I imagine my sister and Lewis looking out and a checking out for me.

I hope both are at peace, and in a better place to be

With Dunkin donuts at every stop

Clothing, jewelry watches, and shoes one could wish to shop

Where people of all colors and religion get along

Where Peace and Love are in Every Song

I miss and love my sister and sadly grieve,

Hilary left me a new friend and brother-in law,and family to help me, and I am thankful for Steve.

Hilary, I love you and miss you, yesterday, today and tomorrow, through infinity. Love, Linda Xo
