The two main characters of the story are both sensitive and artistic. Sophie has come to Laguna after a devastating breakup. She has quit her job, and plans to write a book. After being betrayed by her fiance, she has sworn off men. Nick is as a successful architect. who has had family responsibilities, and doesn’t want to get hurt. Yet sparks are flying between them. Is it possible for a second chance at love and life?
The author writes about betrayal, trust, family, friendships, relationships, love and hope.
This was a delightful, easy, enjoyable read that I would recommend. I received a copy of this book for my honest review.
