My Review of “Best Beach Ever” by Wendy Wax Berkely Publishing Group Publishing Date: May 22, 2018
Author Wendy Wax , “Best Beach Ever” has written an enjoyable, heartwarming, emotional and captivating novel. The Genres for this novel are Fiction and Women’s Fiction. The timeline of this story is mostly in the present only going back a few years when it pertains to the characters or events in the story. There are other books in this series by Wendy Wax, but this can be read as a stand-alone.
The author describes her colorful cast of characters as complex, complicated and confused. Most are likable, and many are very close friends and relatives. Each of the main characters seems to have a decision to make, and at times set-backs before they can move forward. Kyra and the other characters are forced to rent out their beloved Bella Flora, in order to keep it. Maddie, Nikki, Avery, and Bitsy move into the cottages at the Sunshine Hotel and Beach Club , not certain of the future.
Each of the characters has their own set of problems . I appreciate the way the author shows the importance of emotional support of family, friends, and neighbors. I would like to thank NetGalley for a copy of this ARC for my honest review. I would recommend this book to readers of Women’s Fiction. Happy Reading!
