Jennifer Lynn Roche, the Author of “Fireworks, Food Trucks and Foul Play” has written an intriguing and captivating novel. The Genres for this amazing book are Cozy Mystery, Kidnapping Crime Fiction, Thrillers, Murder, Suspense and Romance. This is the 7th book in the Redbury Junction Book Series, and can be read as a stand alone. After reading this book, I would like to read the other books in the series. There is going to be a July 4th of Celebration in the town of Redbury Junction, and there will be activities as well as many food trucks. The author vividly describes the town, the food, and the colorful, dramatic, complex, conflicted, flawed and quirky characters. This book is full of adventure with betrayals, twists and turns, secrets, danger, kidnapping, and murder. Some of the local characters befriend one of the truckdrivers. They invite her to join in the evening festivities and fireworks. The driver never shows up, and the truck is locked but messed up inside. Someone is leaving letters of dangerous intent. The Police and the locals search for clues, and discover the murdered body of another woman. This is an easy to read book, and filled with danger and anticipation. I highly recommend this intense novel.
