Barb Bergwerf, the Author of “Fatal Exposure” has given this novel the perfect title. The “Fatal Exposure” could be from a camera, or the photographer taking the pictures. In this well written and well told story, Barb Bergwerf has written a powerful, captivating and intriguing novel. The Genres for this story are : Political Thriller, Suspense, Romance, Mystery, Literature and Fiction. The Author vividly describes the scenery, political climate, and the dramatic, dark, complex and complicated characters. Is it true that a picture can say a thousand words?

Kate Miller is a photographer, and is either at the right place at the right time, or lucky, but manages to take a photo for her newspaper of an assassination of an Oil Minister in Tehran. Her name is not mentioned for her protection, but she does get the position at the Washington Post, in an era, where women journalists and photographers were not very evident. Kate gets involved with the news in Washington politics, and also a married congressmen. Kate always manages to get pictures, and gets one that shows the possible suspects in another assassination. Now Kate in in danger, in a world of secrets, lies, betrayals and murders. Kate sees how power is used, and how timing affects her photographs, and how this will lead to cause and effects. This is a fast paced novel full of twists and turns, and adventure. I loved how Barb Bergwerf does mention turtles and their eggs, as an example of life. I highly recommend this powerful book.
